TAUNTON, Mass. (WLNE) – A 26-year-old has been arrested and charged for the murder of a Taunton man.
According to the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office, Kali Hollingsworth, 26, was arrested without incident around 5:15 a.m. Wednesday at his mother’s home on School Street in Taunton.
On November 3, Taunton Police responded to a home on Myrtle Street just before 4 p.m. for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, first responders found the victim outside of the home suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
The victim, identified as Jean Carlos Quinones-Lopez, was rushed to Morton Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
According to police, Quinones-Lopez had been living at the Myrtle Street home.
Taunton Police, Massachusetts State Police, and Homicide Unit prosecutors continue to investigate.
Hollingsworth will be arraigned Wednesday in Taunton District Court on a murder charge.
